Marry You

I'm well into weddings and everything that has to do with it. So I decided to make a post with my favourite wedding dresses and my favourite royal weddings.

So here are the most beautiful royal weddings. All weddings are beautiful of course, but these are the most romantic and of course most famous ones.

The wedding of the British Prince William and Kate Middelton in 2011.

The wedding of Charles and Diana in 1981.

The wedding of Chris O'Neill and Madeleine of Sweden in 2013.

Pastime

What else could I do on a rainy saturday, than hear some good music and write on my blog.

I really wanted to post Videos of One Direction's "Rock me" and " Over again", but the GEMA don't want me to do...I'm sure the foreign ones of you could watch the videos, but I do not want to post a Video no German can watch...

Ludovico Makes The World Go Melancholic

Oh my god, how I love the music of Ludovico Einaudi. It is just...wicked! I don't want to overact but this is my personal feeling. And it's great music to go to sleep. It's so melancholic, but in a beautiful way....For everyone who is asking "Who the fuck is Ludovico Einaudi?". He is just one of the best modern componists, I think. Usually his songs are played on the piano with some violins in the background. You maybe know songs of him if you watched the film "Intouchables". This Songs are called "Una mattina" and "Fly". In the moment I am playing (actually I've already "learned" it in one day) a song called "Primavera". My next project will probably be "Nightbook", "Dietro Casa" and "Nefeli". These are sooooo beautiful songs. I could always listen to them.

This song of him is called "Divenire". And I got goose bumps when I first watched it.

I Love

As you could maybe imagine the title refers to a song title. And if you haven't yet, then you would probably by hearing the artists name: Passenger aka Mike Rosenberg!

There you go!!! I knew you knew what the title meant! ;) Alright joking apart... Passenger is my one and only absolute favourite singer ever. I can call me the lucky one that goes to his concert in November, because all of his concerts in Germany are completely sold out.

The concert will be in the "Docks" at the "Spielbudenplatz" near the "Reeperbahn" of Hamburg. A lovely city, by the way...I already had the chance to "meet" and listen to him at the Ed Sheeran concert in November last year.
Well, now I'm coming to the title: It refers to a song of his latest album called "All the little lights" and the song is called "I hate". And, well, I don't hate him so I changed it into "I love". Ok, I know my explanation is stupid but I just wanted...ok, unimportant.

The album is not a wasted investment. You don't get such an album very often. There's not one weak song. But you have to like the singer-songwriter music (I think his music genre is also called folk rock or pop). And I do, I really do!

Well, my favourite Album of him is probably "Wicked Man's Rest", although it's not only of Mike, but also of the other members. Unfortunately this album is so hard to get...I would like to have it, but if someone sells it the price is really too much! (Honestly, why should I buy an album for 100GBP?)

So here's a Video of a great song he, unfortunately, didn't record for his album. But I like it, though! This is his performing as Support at the Ed Sheeran concert at 26th November 2012 in Hamburg at the "Alsterdorfer Sporthalle".

This is the entire Album for those who want to hear it.

This is a very old song of him called "Table for one".
By the time of this song, Passenger still was a real band and not only Mike.

This is "Flight of the crow" of his third Album of the same title, before "All the Little lights"

I love this one which is called "Staring at sky".

Out of "Wicked Man's Rest"

A Bunch Of Films

I just felt the urge to share my list of "beloved" films of mine.

Angus, Thongs and perfect snogging

My absolute favourite one, don't even know why...
This film is based on the novels "Angus, thongs and full-frontal snogging" and "It's okay, I'm wearing really big knickers" by Louise Rennison. Also very good books!
Well, I think I have watched this film...don't think wrong of me...nearly 12 times and it's getting even more.

The Mortal Instruments - City of Bones

well, it's not yet published on DVD but it's definitely worth to be watched in cinemas! Although it's really different than the books are, the story has been changed into a stunning one! But it's a bit brutal and the demons look so unbelievable frightening real, though. Ok, most of you would now say: "Oh no, why is she telling us to go and watch a stupid fantasy film". But it's not! I've never really been into Fantasy before, but it's a great film and a great realization! I can only highly recommend it!

All I wanna do

I really love this film and have watched it nearly 7 times, I think.

Clueless

I'm not sure why I love this old stuff, but I do. And I do it very intense. I've watched this one approximately 6 times.

My Anglophile Vein

So from now on I only write in English. Maybe it's because I love this language so much, but it has one big reason: I love England, well...i have to say it right...the United Kingdom. Not only the country itself, but also the british people, their lifestyle and of course their accent! I adore the British accent and can't understand why people, whose mothertongue isn't English, always prefer the American accent. The British one is so much more melodious, I could listen to it all day long. That's also why I love British artists just like Ed Sheeran, Passenger or One Direction (ok, they do not sing with a British accent but they speak with one). I also prefer films produced in the UK with British actors. But, I have to say I also like American artists and film productions, though! Just wanted to underline this... It all began with the Ed Sheeran concert I went to, on which Passenger was the support.(hard to explain why it began with this concert...) After a while I got really big wanderlust and after another while it got really bad. There are still 3 years left to finish school with an acceptable final certificate and I don't think I can still manage to wait this long to go and see the world. I'm sure I don't want to stay in Germany in the future, although nobody really knows about this. Well I haven't told them yet. And I'm also pretty sure that they would dismiss it as a fancy idea of a teenager. Because normally a teenager my age can't say "well, I'm going to live somewhere else in the future". But i'm pretty sure that's what I really want to do when I've finished school. I don't know very much, but I know what I want to be and have and make in the future and I have big dreams to be realized. To live in the UK, that's my dearest wish! So writing in English now alleviates my Wanderlust a tiny bit and makes it more bearable in some way.

You now know that i'm kind of anglophile. Many people who know me would probably say, that I'm francophile, just because I went to France for 3 months. But I'm definitely not! Although no one really realizes that I am more into the British culture, than into the French one. Ok, so enough with this.

One main reason why I decided to write in English from now on is, that I'm now in 11th grade (wow, that's hard to explain to strangers, because I do not know their School System...so I just let it fall) which means next year I'm about to make my "Abitur" (equivalent to the British A Level). We Chose profiles in which the classes are devided, so I'm now in the linguistic one (there's also an artistic one, two science profiles with either chemistry or physics and one of social sciences with history. It's also hard to explain.) which means that the focus of my profile lays on English, French and Spanish (which I begin to learn with this term.). So I found it would be a great exercise to deepen my English skills a bit more (athough I think they're not that bad).

If this was or is too much to read for you, then I feel sorry, I really didn't want to write that much! :S
So here's one of my favourite Images to make this post (I always want to say tweet...-.-) more interesting.
